Fancy meeting you here!

I'm a Jack of All Trades and a Master of One with a master's degree in Music to be specific.

My experience and passion as a performer branches from opera to musical theater to comedy and to drama. Life is too interesting to pick just one form of expression. If every human being contains multitudes, why should artists limit themselves to just one type of art?

As a solo singer and operatic performer, I've been able to perform at venues like Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Norwegian Opera House in Oslo. Ensemble singing has afforded me the opportunities to support artists such as Andrea Bocelli (Believe Concerts 2021 and 2022 at Madison Square Garden) and Sam Smith (Saturday Night Live, Season 48 Episode 10).

Singing is not just a performative experience, but it is also a spiritual one. You can find me every Sunday morning at the Greek Orthodox Church St. George the Trophy Bearer in Hell's Kitchen, NYC.

I am also a firm believer that laughter is the soul's best medicine. I'm a writer and actor on the indie sketch comedy team, Sponsored By. We have a residency with the Player's Theater on MacDougal Street in NYC and also release sketches virtually.  If you're in the area, come by to see a show! Otherwise, you can find me performing as a stand up comic at various mics in the city or working on passion projects in other mediums. My first short film which I wrote and directed, Friends for Dinner, was a semifinalist in the 8th Annual Stage32 Short Film Program.

Teaching and sharing the arts with others is another one of my passions.  I maintain a small, private studio of voice, acting and piano students, offering both in person and remote lessons. If you're interested in working together, head over to the "Learn from me" tab on this site.

My Story

I'm a second generation American, born and raised in New York. I began the piano at 6 years old and started practicing at 13. A lifelong singer, I eventually attended the Mannes Conservatory for a B.M. in Vocal Performance and CUNY Hunter College for a M.A. in Music. When I started out as a performer, working as an opera singer was my main goal. As my life took many twists and turns, I realized that a career singing just one genre of music was not for me. I wanted to use my talents to reach people in every way I possibly could, be it singing, acting, telling jokes or teaching.

Of course, I'm not going to write my whole life's story on this website, but I hope that this little bit gives you an insight into who I am as an artist. I'm always striving to find the balance between tradition and innovation, discipline and freedom, and repetition and improvisation.
